U.K. house prices rise slower than forecast, RICS data show

NEW YORK (Forex News Now) – U.K. house prices rose at a slower pace than forecast in June, industry data showed on Monday, in one of the day’s major FX news events.
A survey, from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics), showed that house prices rose 9 percent during the month, after jumping a revised 21 percent in May.
Analysts had expected brisker growth of 20 percent in June, two major financial news outlets reported.
