Indicator analysis: German Ifo business climate rises unexpectedly

NEW YORK (Forex News Now) – Business sentiment in Germany rose unexpectedly in August, a report showed on Wednesday, according to indicator analysis.

The Ifo research institute said its Business Climate index for the euro zone’s largest economy rose to 106.7 during the month, up from 106.2 during July.

Analysts had expected a slight decline to 105.8 in August, two real time forex news outlets reported.
